Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Hentz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Cena!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cena misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cena tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Hentz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cena throws a nice looking combination but Hentz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Cena drops Hentz with a left right combo! Cena follows him down to the ground into side control.


It looks like Robert Hentz has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hentz struggling a bit here.

Cena looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hentz gets back to half guard.

Hentz is defending against the submission attempts here by Cena.
Hentz controlling the position well.

Cena trying to pass the guard but Hentz defending well.
Hentz is concentrating on defense, preventing Cena from advancing position.
Hentz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hentz.
Hentz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cena gets to his feet. Hentz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cena shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hentz but Hentz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cena shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hentz sprawls well. Hentz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cena gets slowly back to his feet.

and Hentz counters with a shoot takedown. Cena fights it but they end up in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cena had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hentz defends it easily.

Cena working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hentz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hentz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cena tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Cena dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Robert Hentz's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Cena shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hentz as he avoids it easily.

Hentz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cena looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hentz sitting in guard here, content to control.
Cena wants to sweep but no luck.
Hentz's corner is telling him to maintain position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Robert Hentz wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Cena goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Cena misses with a double jab

and Hentz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Cena trying to control but Hentz postures up.
Hentz stops Cena from getting back to his feet.
Cena is trying to control but can't.
Cena is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hentz is staying active.
Cena tries to kick Hentz off in order to stand up. Hentz Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Cena is looking for a sweep.
Hentz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cena pushes Hentz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hentz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
You can see the frustration on Cena's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cena is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hentz off and has taken his back!
Cena gets his hands free as Hentz looks to control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cena is looking for the choke from the back position but Hentz is controlling his hands well.
Hentz manages to reverse the position and now he's in Cena's guard. Nice work there by Hentz.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hentz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hentz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cena has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hentz has managed to get both his arms back between Cena's legs - danger averted.
Hentz wants to control from the top but Cena keeps moving.
Robert Hentz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cena is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hentz defends well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cena keeping moving, preventing Hentz from controlling successfully.
Hentz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Robert Hentz.

and Hentz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Cena moves in looking to clinch but Hentz pushes him off.
Cena closes the distance and clinches up with Hentz, looking for a takedown. Cena pushes Hentz against the ropes but Hentz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cena shoots in for a takedown but Hentz shows good takedown defense.

Cena tries to escape but Hentz has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Hentz is hanging on to Cena's back as he tries to escape.
Cena is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Cena rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hentz is trying to control. Cena wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Robert Hentz.
Cena fails to land the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cena fails with the takedown.
Cena is looking to clinch but Hentz is avoiding it.

Hentz moves into the clinch.

Hentz works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Cena is looking for a triangle but Hentz pushes his legs off easily.
Hentz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Hentz trying to control but Cena is working from the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Cena has his foot on Hentz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hentz works his way back into a safe position though.

Cena escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hentz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hentz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Robert Hentz showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hentz has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
