The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDonald throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McDonald manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts.
Johnson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
McDonald tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

McDonald lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McDonald goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
McDonald is trying to push Johnson away but Johnson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Johnson swings wildly with an uppercut but McDonald uses good head movement to avoid it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Johnson.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Johnson is trying to drag McDonald to the mat but McDonald just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dwayne Johnson will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McDonald connects with a good right hand that stumbles Johnson. Johnson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

McDonald gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. McDonald fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McDonald looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but McDonald is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McDonald is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Johnson has his hands clasped together but McDonald extends an breaks Johnson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by McDonald.
