Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gray Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Libotons Pride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Maynard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Libotons Pride!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard moves into the clinch.
Pride tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Maynard just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Pride jumps into guard, dragging Maynard to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Maynard is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Pride working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maynard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maynard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pride looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Maynard has picked Pride up and slammed him! Pride can't keep hold of the triangle and Maynard manages to pass to side control!
