Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Natanial Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ron Artest - Champions. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Natanial Wells!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Snow!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow has a takedown stuffed.

Snow drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wells looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Snow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Wells throws his legs up looking for a submission but Snow uses it to pass to side control.
Snow lands an elbow.
Wells is looking to regain half guard here but Snow keeps moving and retains side control.

Snow goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wells rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Snow's guard! Nice work there by Wells!

Snow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wells doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wells manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Snow looking to control but Wells passes into half guard.

Snow pushes Wells off and gets back to his feet.

Snow looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wells is trying to control but Snow manages to pass to mount!

Snow is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wells to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wells shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Snow thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Wells is just holding on here. Snow manages to take his back.

Snow looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Wells is controlling Snow 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.

Wells avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Snow has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wells off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wells shoots in looking for a takedown. Snow tries to sprawl out of it but Wells keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Snow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Snow closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wells to the mat! Wells manages to get full guard.

Snow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Snow's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Snow dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Wells shoots in looking for a takedown. Snow tries to sprawl out of it but Wells keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Snow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Snow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wells is fending him off so far but Snow persists. Nope, Wells circles away and we're back to standing.

Snow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wells's guard.

Snow has gone for a leg lock! Wells slips out almost immediately though and dives into Snow's guard.
Wells won't allow Snow to get back to his feet.
Snow throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Snow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Snow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wells is aware though and is defending well.

Snow working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Wells has passed into half guard!
Snow looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wells is pressing down on Snow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Snow is holding on for now.

Snow kicks Wells off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Snow counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Snow.

Wells tightens his grip and picks Snow up, before dumping him to the ground. Snow manages to land in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wells wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.

Wells has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Snow to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wells is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Snow pulls down on the head and he's put Wells to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). John Snow!
