Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuffie Kisaragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Magnussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kisaragi comes to the cage accompanied by Bezimienni - Walka. Magnussen has chosen Bloody Beetroots - Butter as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnussen thuds a left hand into Kisaragi's body.

Kisaragi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kisaragi cracks Magnussen with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Magnussen wants to control but Kisaragi postures up.
Kisaragi is looking to take a break and control but Magnussen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kisaragi stands up and we're back to a striking position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Magnussen leaves Kisaragi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Magnussen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Magnussen scores with a head kick. Kisaragi tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Kisaragi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Magnussen is fending him off so far but Kisaragi persists. Nope, Magnussen circles away and we're back to standing.
Magnussen throws a head kick that misses.
Magnussen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kisaragi is defended easily by Magnussen.

Magnussen cracks Kisaragi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Magnussen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Magnussen lands with a kick to the temple. Kisaragi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Magnussen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kisaragi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kisaragi thows a huge punch but Magnussen dodges it nicely.
Kisaragi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Magnussen tries to get to full guard but Kisaragi has control of the leg.
Magnussen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kisaragi is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kisaragi winds up and cracks Magnussen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kisaragi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Magnussen works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Yuffie Kisaragi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Magnussen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Magnussen lands a leg kick that knocks Kisaragi off balance momentarily.
Magnussen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Magnussen connects with a high kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Magnussen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kisaragi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice takedown defense from Kisaragi. No joy for Magnussen on that attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Kisaragi. Those never looked like landing.
Magnussen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kisaragi.

A looping hook to the body misses from Magnussen. Kisaragi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kisaragi dives in and grabs Magnussen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Magnussen pushes down on Kisaragi's head and hops out.
Kisaragi shoots for a takedown but Magnussen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kisaragi misses with a takedown attempt - Magnussen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kisaragi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Magnussen pinned against the cage. Magnussen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Magnussen has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Yuffie Kisaragi's cut is getting worse.

Magnussen decides to stand back up. Magnussen steps back and let's Kisaragi get back to his feet.
Oh Kisaragi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Magnussen lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Kisaragi - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Magnussen!
