Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iam Getcha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Pete Peterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Iam Getcha!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Getcha scores with a push kick.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Peterson tries to clinch up but Getcha circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Peterson is defended easily by Getcha.
Getcha fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Peterson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Getcha scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Getcha is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Peterson wants to control the action here but instead Getcha manages to pass to full mount!
Getcha fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Peterson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Getcha prevents Peterson from getting the reversal.
Peterson wants to control but Getcha is having none of it.
Peterson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Getcha on the ground.
Peterson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Getcha is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Peterson is bucking up trying to escape but Getcha cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Peterson tries to lock up and control but Getcha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Peterson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Getcha lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Peterson tries to lock up and control but Getcha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Getcha lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Peterson hang on?
Getcha avoids the attempt from Peterson to control.
Peterson can't escape the position.
Peterson taking shots to the head.

Getcha has hold of Peterson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Peterson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Peterson wants to hold on but Getcha pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Getcha landing strikes from the mount.
Peterson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Peterson is working hard here to advance position.
Peterson tries to lock up and control but Getcha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Getcha jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Peterson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Peterson and Getcha has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Getcha decides to stand up, so the ref orders Peterson to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iam Getcha dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Peterson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Getcha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Getcha tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Iam Getcha has got the better of the ground game so far.
Getcha trying to control the action but Peterson is working from the bottom.

Peterson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Getcha pulls his head out easily.
Peterson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Getcha controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Peterson pushes Getcha off and gets back to his feet.
Getcha misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Peterson looks to land a combination but Getcha avoids it well.
Getcha looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A head kick misses from Peterson.
Getcha looks for the body kick but Peterson saw that one coming.
Getcha fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Getcha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Peterson, pushing him back against the cage.
Peterson tries to pull guard but Getcha holds him up against the cage and eventually Peterson drops back down to his feet.
Peterson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Getcha escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Getcha.
Pete Peterson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Getcha changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Peterson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Peterson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Getcha gets to mount! Peterson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Getcha with shots to the head and body - Peterson looks very uncomfortable down there.

Getcha lands a big elbow.

Getcha is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Getcha!
