The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banana throws a nice looking combination but Henry bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Banana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Henry enables Banana to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Henry manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Banana has gone for a leg lock! Henry slips out almost immediately though and dives into Banana's guard.

Henry stalks Banana and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Banana's face. Banana staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

so Henry counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Banana utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Henry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Banana escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Henry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Banana has momentary wrist control but Henry slips an elbow through the middle.

Henry is pushing down on Banana's leg trying to pass to half guard. Banana is fighting to maintain full guard but Henry has managed to sneak the leg through.
Oh Banana is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Henry scores with a big shot! Banana's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Banana! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
