Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Klass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aybara comes to the cage accompanied by Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter. Matt Klass will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Klass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aybara looks for a takedown but Klass sprawls well.
Aybara throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Klass on the side of the head.
Aybara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Klass fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Aybara looks to score with a jab to the body but Klass is just out of range.

Aybara stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klass swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Klass working a defensive guard but Aybara passes into half guard.
Aybara seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Aybara is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Klass defends it well.
Klass is staying active underneath Aybara, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Aybara is taking a breather. Klass says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Aybara throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Aybara looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Klass with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Aybara is keen to just control but Klass is a slippery customer.

The ref is looking closely - Klass is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Klass is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
