The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins is looking to clinch but Rafter is avoiding it.
Hopkins tries to clinch up.

Hopkins is working for takedown but Rafter is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rafter looking to stall.
Rafter scores with a knee to the head.
Hopkins prevents Rafter from breaking the clinch.
Hopkins keeps control of Rafter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rafter wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hopkins misses with an elbow strike.

Hopkins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rafter backwards.
Rafter is trying to break the clinch but Hopkins has him pressed against the cage.

Hopkins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rafter gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Rafter is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hopkins is keeping busy.
Hopkins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rafter backwards.
Hopkins lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rafter backwards.
Oh Rafter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hopkins throws a punch but it's blocked by Rafter.
Hopkins prevents Rafter from breaking the clinch.
