Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rico Maglayon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Maglayon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeff Hatton's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maglayon motions for Hatton to come forward. Maglayon throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Maglayon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Maglayon avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Maglayon has his takedown stuffed

and Hatton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hatton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Maglayon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hatton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maglayon's guard.
Hatton keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Hatton is working for a kimura but Maglayon is defending it quite comfortably.
Hatton works his way into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maglayon pushes Hatton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hatton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hatton stands up and beckons Maglayon to his feet.

Hatton shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Maglayon napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hatton has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Maglayon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hatton.

Hatton wants to finish this one by submission but Maglayon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hatton.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hatton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Hatton looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hatton is working for a guillotine from mount but Maglayon frees his head quite easily.
Maglayon is breathing heavily.
Hatton is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Maglayon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Maglayon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hatton is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Maglayon is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Maglayon flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hatton anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Maglayon and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hatton slips an arm under Maglayon chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hatton has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hatton is squeezing on Maglayon like an anaconda would it's prey. Maglayon fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
