With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gabriel Francisco !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrier moves to clinch but Francisco breaks away
letting Francisco counter with a right hand.
Francisco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
No luck for Terrier with that takedown attempt.
Terrier shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Francisco counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Terrier shoots in for a takedown but Francisco shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scottie Terrier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Francisco looks to score with a jab to the body but Terrier is just out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Terrier.

and Francisco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Terrier shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Francisco as he jumps to the side.
Terrier tries for a takedown but Francisco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Francisco throws a lazy right hand but Terrier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Terrier fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Francisco throws a hook but Terrier avoids it easily.
Terrier looks to score with a jab to the body but Francisco is just out of range.
Terrier shoots in looking for a takedown but Francisco manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Terrier's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Terrier doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Francisco counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Francisco dips to his left and cracks Terrier with an uppercut!

Francisco has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Francisco defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Terrier.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Francisco counters with a body kick that stops Terrier in his tracks momentarily.

and Francisco counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Oh Terrier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Terrier avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Terrier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Francisco is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Terrier had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Francisco is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Terrier.

Terrier uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Francisco .
Gabriel Francisco is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Francisco throws a lazy right hand but Terrier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Terrier moves away from the strike by Francisco .
Terrier seems to have got his legs back now.
Scottie Terrier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Terrier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Terrier avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Francisco throws a hook to the side of Terrier's head but Terrier sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Francisco counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Terrier moves out of range of the strikes.

Terrier fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Francisco sprawls well initially but Terrier persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Terrier misses with a head shot. Francisco uses the momentum to regain guard.
Francisco not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Terrier loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Terrier is sitting in close to Francisco 's body. Francisco has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Terrier is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Terrier is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Francisco .
