Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jones Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Jones Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Rich!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark tries to clinch there but Rich circles away.
Rich moves into the clinch.
Rich lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rich is taking a breather. Stark says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Stark tries to get to full guard but Rich has control of the leg.
Rich throwing shots but Stark is blocking nicely.
Stark gets back to full guard.
Rich gets to his feet. Stark looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Stark tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rich paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stark tries for a takedown but Rich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stark shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stark tries to clinch up but Rich circles away and keeps his distance.
Stark tries to clinch there but Rich circles away.
Rich misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stark but Stark pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rich shoots in for a takedown but Stark shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tony Jones Stark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Rich.
Rich fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stark sprawls well initially but Rich persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rich perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Rich prevents Stark from standing back up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stark wants to control but Rich is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rich wants to pass to mount but Stark is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rich throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rich keeps the fight on the outside.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rich is defended easily by Stark.
Rich has a takedown stuffed.
Rich looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stark doesn't manage to clinch there - Rich circles away.
Stark shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rich sprawls well. Rich wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stark gets slowly back to his feet.
Rich avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stark is looking to clinch.
Rich clinches up with Stark and pushes him back against the cage.
Stark gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Rich wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Knees in the clinch landing for Stark.
Rich blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Rich has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stark uses from the top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stark controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Rich seems content to control.
Let's hope that Rich has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Rich passes to side control.
Stark can't do much from the bottom here.
Rich lands some shots froms side control.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Rich stands up and beckons Stark to his feet.
Rich closes the distance and clinches.
Stark fails to pull guard.
Stark jumps guard but Rich stands there with Stark around his waist. Stark gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rich has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stark clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Stark defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Rich gets his hands free as Stark looks to control.
That's six minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rich working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rich working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Stark is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Rich has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Stark taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rick Rich!
