Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyson Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched. Both these fighters had to take extra time to make weight as they missed the initial 155lb limit. Chris Ward came in at 157.0 and tyson Griffin came in at 156.1 but after the extra two hours, both guys managed to get within the one pound allowance. No doubt it will have affected them physically though, so let's see if that has an impact on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward misses with a takedown attempt
and Griffin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Chris Ward has been cut.
Ward doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Griffin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ward!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
A nice elbow there by Griffin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffin lands a big shot there that rocks Ward but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The referee warns Ward that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ward is rocked!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griffin lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Griffin looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Ward covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
