Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

With a record of 16 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Thomas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Thomas. No joy for Powers on that attempt.
Powers has a takedown stuffed.
Powers on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Powers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from Thomas does no damage.
Powers takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Frank Powers has been cut.
Frank Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Thomas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Powers. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thomas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Powers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Powers shoots for a takedown but Thomas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Powers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Powers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Powers looking to score a takedown here. Thomas is defending well but Powers drives through and ends up in Thomas's guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Powers trying to control the position from guard on top but Thomas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Powers is breathing heavily.
Powers missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Thomas is looking for a triangle but Powers pushes his legs off easily.

Powers is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Thomas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Powers is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Thomas pulls his head out easily.

Thomas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Powers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thomas.

Powers has his feet on Thomas's thighs here. He's pushed Thomas off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Thomas screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
