The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickers dives in and grabs Rodrigues's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rodrigues pushes down on Nickers's head and hops out.

Rodrigues throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Smelly Nickers has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nickers.
Smelly Nickers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nickers on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nickers is rocked!
Rodrigues feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Nickers crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
