The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Page as he jumps to the side.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Page moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Rampage Jackson has been cut.

Page shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Page lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jackson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Page looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Page slips a nice elbow through Jackson's hands, connecting with Jackson's forehead.
Jackson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Page scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jackson is rocked!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Page connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple.
Jackson is still in real trouble! Can Page finish him?
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Page lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jackson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Page jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
