The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iljong pushes Kjellstrom up against the cage in a clinch.
Kjellstrom works on Iljong's body with a couple of short punches.
Iljong swings wildly with an uppercut but Kjellstrom uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kjellstrom swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kjellstrom fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Iljong tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kjellstrom's elbow.
Kjellstrom swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Iljong gets through Kjellstrom's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

A head punch on the inside from Kjellstrom fails to land.
Iljong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kjellstroms head.

Iljong scores with a hook to the body. Kjellstrom takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Iljong digs a right hand into Kjellstrom's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kjellstrom's gas tank.

Kjellstrom walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Iljong cracks a nice hook into Kjellstrom's ribs.
Kjellstrom takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Iljong fakes the leg kick and cracks Kjellstrom in the body.

A shot to the liver by Iljong. Beautiful body shot.
Iljong lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Iljong gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A body shot lands from Iljong.
Iljong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Iljong shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kjellstrom eats them both and turns towards Iljong to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Iljong scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Iljong lands a really nice looking cross but Kjellstrom seems unphased.
Kjellstrom gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Kjellstrom tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Iljong is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Kjellstrom buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Kjellstrom!! Kjellstrom is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Iljong throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kim Iljong!
