The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joee has taken the fight to the clinch.
Joee is trying to push Nelson away but Nelson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Joee is looking to break free of the clinch but Nelson has double underhooks.
Joee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Nelson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Joee's efforts to push away.
Nelson keeps control of Joee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nelson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Joee walks away with a smile on his face. Nelson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
No luck for Nelson with that takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nelson has Joee pressed against the cage, preventing Joee from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A frustrated look appears on Joee's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Joee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nelson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Joee smiles and moves away.
Bowi Joee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Nelson.

Nelson scores with a takedown into Joee's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Joee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nelson manages to get himself to full guard.
Joee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nelson looking for a guillotine here but Joee defends easily.

Nelson has instead reached around Joee's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nelson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
