Ivanov swings for the body but Cross moves out of range.
Tone Cross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cross misses with a leg kick
and Ivanov counters with a stiff right hand.
Cross throws a right and a left that Ivanov avoids nicely.
Cross slips a jab from Ivanov.
Ivanov lands with a cross.
Ivanov misses the shot to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ivanov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ivanov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Ivanov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cross is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cross is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ivanov's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Ivanov! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Cross has tapped! This one is allllll over!
