Rabago has chosen "Stop Reading, Start Doing Pushups" as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Rabago!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabago slips a jab and a cross from Norman.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rabago can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Storman Norman.
Norman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rabago bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Norman looks to land a combination but Rabago avoids it well.
Adam Rabago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rabago swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rabago throws a lazy right hand but Norman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rabago throws a series of punches but Norman moves out of range.
Norman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rabago.
Norman misses with a two punch combination.
Rabago tries to bum rush Norman with a series of wild strikes but Norman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Adam Rabago is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fighters circling - Norman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Norman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rabago did well to prevent Norman getting side control.

Norman seems to be working for a kimura but Rabago defends the submission attempt.

Rabago really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Norman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Norman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rabago.
Rabago misses with a series of wild punches.
Norman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Norman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Norman closes the distance and clinches up with Rabago, looking for a takedown. Norman pushes Rabago against the cage but Rabago circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Rabago does no damage.
Rabago is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Rabago dodges the punch combination from Norman.
Rabago looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rabago misses with a wild combination.
Rabago swinging wildly here.
Norman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rabago as he jumps to the side.
Norman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Norman is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rabago!
Poor strikes thrown by Norman there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Storman Norman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Norman is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rabago has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rabago!

Rabago is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Norman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rabago defends well.

Norman is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rabago has his hands clasped together but Norman extends an breaks Rabago's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Norman.
