The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deeneero gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Spikely Deeneero wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Deeneero closes the distance and clinches up with Suckerpunch, looking for a takedown. Deeneero pushes Suckerpunch against the cage but Suckerpunch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Suckerpunch with that takedown attempt.
Deeneero throws a sloppy head kick and Suckerpunch moves out of range easily.
Suckerpunch throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Deeneero tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Suckerpunch is in Deeneero's guard.

Deeneero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Suckerpunch is aware though and is defending well.

Suckerpunch dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Deeneero has had enough and taps out.
