Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Vitor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Sgt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitor kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pregador Luo - Apaga Mas Não Bate. Sgt has chosen Full Metal Jacket as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitor fails to land the takedown.
Vitor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sgt counters with a nice uppercut.
Sgt lands with a cross.
Sgt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vitor.
Vitor closes the distance and clinches up with Sgt, looking for a takedown. Vitor pushes Sgt against the cage but Sgt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Vitor is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Sgt as he works his way to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Joao Vitor will probably get the nod.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sgt. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Vitor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sgt's waist but Sgt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vitor off to one side.
