Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Crawley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Tune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tune's choice of entrance music: Master of Puppets (8-BIT). Crawley is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. John Crawley had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tune changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crawley tries to avoid it but Tune manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crawley to the ground. Crawley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Crawley is breathing heavily.
Tune walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Crawley checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Crawley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tune is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Let's hope that Tune has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Tune distracts Crawley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Charlie Tune.
Tune shoots in for a takedown but Crawley shows good takedown defense.
Tune closes the distance and clinches up with Crawley, looking for a takedown. Tune pushes Crawley against the cage but Crawley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
John Crawley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Tune.
Tune tries a head kick but it misses.
John Crawley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tune shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Tune shoots in and bounces Crawley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Tune is pushing down on Crawley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Crawley is fighting to maintain full guard but Tune has managed to sneak the leg through.

Tune thows a huge punch but Crawley dodges it nicely.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Charlie Tune hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Tune moves into the clinch.
Tune is trying to drag Crawley to the mat but Crawley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Tune jumps guard and drags Crawley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Tune is looking to sinch up a triangle. Crawley throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tune's body to avoid the submission. Tune has instead reached around Crawley's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tune arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
