PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mehoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximillion Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mehoff might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Choke Sermon by Lamb of God. Dirk has chosen Mack the Knife as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirk scores with a jab. Mehoff acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Dirk rushes Mehoff and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dirk pushes Mehoff back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Jack Mehoff has been cut.
Dirk manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Mehoff is trying to force a seperation but Dirk has the dominant position.
Dirk misses with a hook from the clinch.

Mehoff's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mehoff throws a looping overhand right but Dirk ducks down to avoid it.
Dirk tests Mehoff's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Mehoff is rocked!
Mehoff bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oh Mehoff is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jack Mehoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dirk missing with a left hand there. Mehoff was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dirk throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mehoff sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mehoff bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mehoff ducks under a wild hook from Dirk.
Dirk throws a jab but it's blocked by Mehoff.
Mehoff slips a straight right by Dirk.
Mehoff keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dirk.
Dirk loads up on a big right hand but Mehoff slips the punch.
A slow jab from Dirk misses its intended target.
Dirk missing with a left hand there. Mehoff was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dirk connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Mehoff to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Dirk!
