The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swagger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Swagger looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Machida.
Machida tries to clinch up but Swagger circles away and keeps his distance.
Swagger throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Machida counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Machida has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Machida is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Swagger is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Swagger flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Machida anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Swagger and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Machida slips an arm under Swagger chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Machida has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Machida is squeezing on Swagger like an anaconda would it's prey. Swagger fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
