The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krup throws out a leg kick but Mooiboy moves out of range and Krup only half commits.
Krup takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Krup fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mooiboy on the side of the head.
No luck for Mooiboy with that takedown attempt.
Krup waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mooiboy.
Krup looks to score with a jab to the body but Mooiboy is just out of range.
Mooiboy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Krup.
Krup lands a head kick. Mooiboy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

A left and a right from Krup both land. Nice combination.
Krup shoots in looking for a takedown but Mooiboy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Krup's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mooiboy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mooiboy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Krup connects with an inside leg kick.
Mooiboy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Krup connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mooiboy scrambles back to his feet.
Jizzy Krup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters circling - Krup throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Krup throws the left hand but Mooiboy avoids the punch easily.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Mooiboy might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Krup has got the better of the exchanges.

Krup closes the distance and clinches up with Mooiboy, looking for a takedown. Krup pushes Mooiboy against the cage but Mooiboy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mooiboy's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Nice straight punches there by Krup. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Krup.

Mooiboy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Krup finds it's way round the side to connect with Mooiboy's head.

Krup lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mooiboy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Krup can pounce on him.

Krup throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mooiboy sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Krup lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Mooiboy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Krup to the mat! Krup manages to get full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Krup is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mooiboy is in close to Krup's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Mooiboy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Krup working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mooiboy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mooiboy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
