The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PhoQus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vitruk.

PhoQus wants to pass the guard but Vitruk is keeping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We're going to have a standup here because Eddie PhoQus wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Vitruk is trying hard to land a takedown here. PhoQus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Eddie PhoQus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slava Vitruk.

PhoQus feints a jab promting Vitruk to slip. PhoQus then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vitruk slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Slava Vitruk has been cut.
The crowd cheers as PhoQus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vitruk doesn't seem phased though.

PhoQus cracks Vitruk with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vitruk looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can PhoQus finish him?

PhoQus throws a pinpoint strike between Vitruk's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Vitruk crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and PhoQus scores a great knockout victory!
