Eklund has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Anders Eklund could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roma Kucherov's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kucherov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Eklund has momentary wrist control but Kucherov slips an elbow through the middle.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kucherov connects with a nice short shot to Eklund's temple.
Kucherov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Kucherov around the waist but Kucherov pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Kucherov is the winner by TKO! Kucherov jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
