The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chestnut lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chestnut.
Mays blocks a leg kick.
Mays looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chestnut is fending him off so far but Mays persists. Nope, Chestnut circles away and we're back to standing.
Chestnut displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mays.
Mays checks the leg kick.
Mays looks to throw the jab but Chestnut is out of range.
Mays takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nice sprawl there from Chestnut as Mays shoots in.

Chestnut misses with a low kick.
Chestnut scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mays doesn't seem bothered though.
Walter Chestnut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chestnut lands a nice shot that snaps Mays's head back.

and Mays counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mays.

Mays got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chestnut has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mays has managed to get both his arms back between Chestnut's legs - danger averted.
Mays trying to control the position from guard on top but Chestnut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mays could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mays tries to free his leg and advance position but Chestnut is retaining full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Billy Mays.
Chestnut ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chestnut fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Mays tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chestnut manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chestnut tried to score with a low kick but Mays checks it.
A left and a right from Chestnut both land. Nice combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chestnut lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mays circles away quickly and effectively.
A clash of legs there as Mays blocks the low kick.
Mays takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mays throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chestnut.
Mays walks into a straight right hand from Chestnut.
Mays shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chestnut but Chestnut pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chestnut drops Mays with a beautiful combination! Mays stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Chestnut is looking for the KO!
Mays is rocked!
Nice body punch from Chestnut.
Oh Mays is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chestnut tries a low kick but Mays avoids it.
Chestnut lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Chestnut wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chestnut is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Chestnut throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mays.
Chestnut rushes Mays with punches - Mays moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Mays goes down! Chestnut follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
