Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earnie Shavers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iron has chosen Cool - Remix by Afrojack as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Iron wants to clinch up but Shavers keeps it at a distance.
Shavers misses with a double jab.
Shavers throws a nice looking combination but Iron bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Shavers clinches with his opponent.
Iron is trying to push Shavers away but Shavers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Iron working hard to break the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Iron.
Iron is looking to break free of the clinch but Shavers has double underhooks.
Shavers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shavers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Iron is sitting in close to Shavers's body. Shavers has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Iron is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Iron is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Shavers.
