Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alotta Fagina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Smith is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alotta Fagina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Smith!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fagina connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Smith cracks a nice hook into Fagina's ribs.
Fagina throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Fagina shows good takedown defense.
Nice sprawl there from Fagina as Smith shoots in.
Smith throws a head kick but Fagina moves out of range.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alotta Fagina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Smith.
Smith drives through with a takedown into guard.
Smith landing with the ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Smith is pushing down on Fagina's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fagina is fighting to maintain full guard but Smith has managed to sneak the leg through.
Fagina is looking to escape.
Smith content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Smith landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Smith perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Smith is trying to work for a kimura but Fagina is defending well.
Smith drops an elbow to the side of Fagina's head.

Ground and pound from Smith.
Smith thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Smith content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Smith wants to work for an arm triangle but Fagina is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fagina has managed to free his arm - good work.
Smith trying to control the pace.

Smith is nestled in close to Fagina, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith passes to full mount!
Smith tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fagina tries to hold on but Smith postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Smith controlling the pace for now.
Smith has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Smith is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Fagina is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Fagina flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Smith anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Fagina and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Smith slips an arm under Fagina chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Smith has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Smith is squeezing on Fagina like an anaconda would it's prey. Fagina fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Billy Smith!
