Williams comes into the arena with Ambitions Az A Ryder blaring out of the sound system. Leroy Williams has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Becker stuffs the takedown.

and Williams counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Becker is defending against the submission attempts here by Williams.

Becker is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Becker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Williams thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Becker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Williams!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Becker cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Becker wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Williams slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Williams regains full guard. Nicely done.
Becker wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
Becker scoring with punches to the head and body.
Becker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Williams is trying to work for a kimura but Becker is defending well.
Williams is looking to advance position but Becker won't allow it.

Williams has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Becker defend it? Williams steps over the head and cranks it - Becker is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Williams!
