The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khaled tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Long was well out of range. Poor timing from Khaled.
Long throws a right hand that Khaled ducks under and follows up with a left that Khaled also avoids with ease.
Khaled scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Khaled lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Alex Long has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Khaled.
Long looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Long tries to keep at a distance but Khaled has taken the fight into the clinch.

Long cracks Khaled with a nice body shot.
Khaled landing knees to the head.
Long working aggressively here.

Khaled escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Long drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Khaled drives through and clinches with Long against the cage.

Long escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Long blocks a low kick nicely.
Khaled on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Long misses with a two punch combination.
Long looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Khaled takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Khaled tries to close the distance and clinch up but Long swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A nice combination there by Long.

Khaled closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Khaled is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Khaled pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Long crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Khaled - the referee stops the clock and Long gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Khaled. Long manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Khaled knocks Long out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
