The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Rage counters with a head kick that drops Adams to the mat! Adams scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Adams clobbers Rage with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Adams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adams wants it to stay on the feet.

Adams throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rage looks gassed!

Rage tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Adams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rage moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Adams throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rage on the side of the head.
Adams misses with a body kick.
Adams feints and then cracks Rage's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rage down.
Rage takes one on the button.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Adams is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Rage has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Adams.

Rage takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Adams lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Adams lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rage at a distance.
Adams scores with a hook to the body. Rage takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rage walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Adams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rage has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Rage's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Adams lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rage will feel that in the morning.

Adams lands a left and a right that send Rage crashing to the mat, dazed. Adams thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rage is rocked!

Rage seems to have recovered his senses.
Adams connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Adams ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Adams moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rage's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Adams connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rage scrambles back to his feet.
Adams lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Rage goes down and covers up as Adams starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
