The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sandro napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sandro goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jones has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sandro but great work by Jones.

Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Sandro get back to his feet.
Bader Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sandro swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bader Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Sandro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jones cranks the arm and Sandro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sandro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
