Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Allister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Nalaban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allister throws a push kick but Nalaban slaps the foot to one side.

Nalaban gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Allister might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Allister drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nalaban dives on top into guard.
Nalaban wants to get up but he can't break Allister's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Allister is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nalaban defends well.

Allister looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nalaban has picked Allister up and slammed him! Allister can't keep hold of the triangle and Nalaban manages to pass to side control!
Nalaban wants to control but Allister is keeping him busy.
Nalaban remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nalaban is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Allister's shoulder. That is not cool.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nalaban leaves Allister with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Allister shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nalaban pinned against the cage. Nalaban gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Allister has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Nalaban should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Allister has tightened it up now! Nalaban should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
