PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nek Olob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trugagh Bloodrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nek Olob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trugagh Bloodrock!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloodrock misses with a head kick.
Olob rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bloodrock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Olob tries to keep at a distance but Bloodrock has taken the fight into the clinch.

Olob breaks from the clinch.

Olob gets a clinch.
Olob is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Olob is looking to break free of the clinch but Bloodrock has double underhooks.
Olob with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Olob is trying to break the clinch but Bloodrock has him pressed against the cage.
Olob has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Olob breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Bloodrock or perhaps it was just good defense by Olob which made him look bad.

Bloodrock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Olob napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bloodrock advances to full mount.
Olob is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bloodrock connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Olob wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bloodrock.

Olob has left one of his arms exposed and Bloodrock doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Olob screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
