Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjay Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 4 Minutes to Lockdown by Redman & Method Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Arjay Murphy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blow scores with a head kick. Murphy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Murphy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blow has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blow and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Murphy looks to land a combination. Blow sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Murphy throws a solid leg kick but Blow takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Murphy.
Blow keeps the fight on the outside.
Blow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blow gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Murphy to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Murphy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Murphy wants to control from the top but Blow keeps moving.
Blow trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Murphy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blow's guard.

Murphy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Blow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Blow.
Murphy wants to control from the top but Blow keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blow is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Blow tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Murphy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Murphy is looking to take a break and control but Blow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Murphy escapes and gets back to his feet.
Murphy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Murphy somewhat.
Murphy lunges at Blow with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Blow's hand.

Murphy throws a leg kick but Blow checks it.
Murphy fails with a takedown attempt.
Blow circles away from the clinch attempt
and Blow moves into the clinch.
Blow breaks from the clinch.
Murphy throws a nice looking combination but Blow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murphy.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Blow lands a knee to the body.
Murphy jumps guard but Blow stands there with Murphy around his waist. Murphy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Joe Blow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arjay Murphy.
A frustrated look appears on Murphy's face as he tries to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Blow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Murphy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Blow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Murphy misses with a few strikes there.

Blow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Murphy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Murphy is not content to let Blow control the position.
Blow stands up and beckons Murphy to his feet.

and Blow counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Murphy's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murphy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blow avoids it really well and circles away.

Murphy is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Blow in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Blow will probably get the nod.

Blow decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Murphy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Blow has picked Murphy up and slammed him! Murphy can't keep hold of the triangle and Blow manages to pass to side control!
