Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Landers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Kingsbury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kevin Landers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kevin Landers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsbury slaps away a takedown attempt from Landers, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Landers looks for a takedown but Kingsbury sprawls well.
Landers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Landers moves into range and clinches up with Kingsbury.
Kingsbury drops down looking for an ankle pick but Landers pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kingsbury shoots in and drives through. Landers sprawls well.

Landers shoots in looking for a takedown but Kingsbury manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Landers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kingsbury dives in and grabs Landers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Landers pushes down on Kingsbury's head and hops out.

Kingsbury tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Landers just stands there and leans against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Landers's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kingsbury tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Landers smiles and moves away.
Landers dives in and grabs Kingsbury's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kingsbury pushes down on Landers's head and hops out.
Landers is breathing heavily.

and Landers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kingsbury's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Kingsbury escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Landers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Landers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kingsbury has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Landers has managed to get both his arms back between Kingsbury's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kingsbury is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Landers avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kingsbury escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Landers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Landers wants to control from the top but Kingsbury keeps moving.

Landers stands and steps away. Kingsbury gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Landers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Kingsbury keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kingsbury gets underhooks to prevent Landers's takedown attempt.
