Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Chyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Algenir Mira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chyn comes to the cage accompanied by I wish . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryu Chyn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Algenir Mira!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chyn throws a hook to the side of Mira's head but Mira sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mira stuffs the takedown.
Mira misses the shot to the body.
A nice combination there by Mira.

It looks like Ryu Chyn has been cut.
Mira's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mira duly obliges.

Chyn is rocked!
Mira throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh Chyn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chyn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mira looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chyn seems to have got his legs back now.
A lull in the action here.
Chyn seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mira for as long as he can get away with.

Chyn tries to advance to mount but can't.
Chyn staying calm.
Mira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chyn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mira prevents Chyn from improving position.
Mira is not content to let Chyn control the position.
Mira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chyn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mira is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Chyn is controlling him well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mira seems a little lost for a moment, as Chyn dominates the positioning.
Mira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chyn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mira managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Chyn.
Mira stops Chyn from passing to mount.
Mira is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Chyn passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mira!
Chyn takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mira tries to hold on but Chyn pushes him away.
Chyn controlling the pace for now.
Chyn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chyn avoids the attempt from Mira to control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mira is in all sorts of trouble here.
Chyn tries to control but Mira wriggling away.
Mira wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chyn looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Chyn prevents Mira from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Chyn counters with a nice uppercut.
Chyn throws a looping overhand right but Mira ducks down to avoid it.

Mira tries to sprawl but Chyn drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Chyn is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Chyn is trying for a kimura here. Mira looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Chyn wins by kimura!
