Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mushu Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeus Mesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's entrance music is Papoose - Born To Win. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mushu Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zeus Mesus!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mesus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Mesus circles away.
Lee leaves Mesus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mesus avoids the head kick by Lee.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mesus.
Mushu Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeus Mesus.
Mesus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mesus somewhat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mesus closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Mesus pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mesus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mesus off to one side.
Lee wants to clinch.

Mesus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Mesus persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mesus is working for a kimura but Lee is defending it quite comfortably.
Lee wants to improve his position but Mesus is controlling well.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mesus is working away from the top position though.
Lee is trying to get back to full guard.

Mesus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lee sees it coming and defends easily.

Lee is defending against the submission attempts here by Mesus.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mesus has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lee defend it? Mesus steps over the head and cranks it - Lee is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mesus!
