Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Rubber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Finch has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Oliver Rubber's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Finch!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubber is looking to clinch.
Finch misses with a wild body shot.

Rubber pushes Finch up against the cage in a clinch.
Rubber tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rubber misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Finch.
Finch tries to land knees in the clinch but Rubber avoids the damage to the body.
Rubber has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Finch is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rubber tries to pull guard but Finch won't allow it.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Finch's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Finch cracks Rubber with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Rubber from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Rubber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Finch tries to avoid it but Rubber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Finch to the ground. Finch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Finch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rubber manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rubber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Finch is fending him off so far but Rubber persists. Nope, Finch circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Finch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
