Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Dicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Delphine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delphine has chosen Cowboys From Hell as his entrance music. Jason Dicks had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dicks thuds his right hand into Delphine's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Dicks rushes Delphine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dicks is looking to break free of the clinch but Delphine has double underhooks.
Dicks is pressed up against the cage. Delphine has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dicks down to the mat. Dicks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Delphine shoots in and drives through. Dicks sprawls well.

Delphine gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Delphine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dicks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dicks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Delphine is proving hard to escape from.

Delphine has his feet on Dicks's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dicks closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dicks lands in his opponent's guard.
Delphine wants to stand and escape but Dicks is having none of it.

Delphine working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dicks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dicks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Delphine isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dicks stacks Delphine on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dicks!

Dicks decides to stand back up. Dicks steps back and let's Delphine get back to his feet.
Jason Dicks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dicks darts in and clinches Delphine up against the cage.
Delphine drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dicks pulls his leg out and moves away.

Delphine shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dicks as he jumps to the side.

Dicks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Delphine, pushing him back against the cage.
Delphine is working for takedown but Dicks is calmly controlling the position for now.
Delphine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dicks is struggling to control the position.
Delphine jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dicks walks away with a smile on his face. Delphine gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Delphine shoots in looking for a takedown. Dicks tries to sprawl out of it but Delphine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dicks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Delphine checks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dicks has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Delphine clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Dicks is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dicks gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dicks gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dicks apologises and we restart here on the feet.
