Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dank closes the distance but Partner moves to the side

and Partner counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Partner throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Dank is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Dank misses with an elbow over the top.
Partner has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dank is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Partner has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dank avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Partner has Dank pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Partner pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dank tumbling to the mat - Partner dives into Dank's guard.
Partner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dank swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dank is looking to stand up but Partner isn't so interested in that idea.

Dank keeping moving, preventing Partner from controlling successfully.

Dank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Partner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Partner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dank as he avoids it easily.

and Partner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dank's guard now.

Partner trying to control the position from guard on top but Dank is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dank can't keep his opponent in guard - Partner advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Partner wants to pass the guard but Dank is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Dank keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Partner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dank as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Partner is defended easily by Dank.

Partner shoots in and drives through. Dank sprawls well.
Partner keeps the fight on the outside.

Partner closes the distance and clinches.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Partner has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dank regains guard immediately.
Partner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dank swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Partner works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Partner wants to free his trapped foot but Dank is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dank keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Partner trying to pass the guard but Dank defending well.
Partner keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Partner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dank can do anything to dispel that myth.
Partner prevents Dank from standing back up.
Dank is breathing heavily.
Partner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dank does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Dank keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Partner missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Partner moves nicely into side control.
Dank is not content to let Partner control the position.
Dank is trying to escape the position but Partner is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Training Partner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dank is trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Training Partner dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Partner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dank tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Partner is in Dank's guard.
Partner passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Partner works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Partner tries to advance to mount but can't.
Partner lands an elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dank takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Partner tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dank's legs.

Dank is not content to let Partner control the position.

Partner advances to full mount.
Partner has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dank's face.
The referee warns Dank that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dank takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Partner landing strikes from the mount.

Partner lands a nice shot to the head.
BOOM! Partner connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Partner scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dank?
Partner lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Partner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dank can do to turn this around?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big strike lands for Partner! That's really hurt Dank and he's turned his back - Partner keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Partner jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
