Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soren Kierkegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan de Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Sapi looks for the body kick but Kierkegaard saw that one coming.
Kierkegaard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
de Sapi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kierkegaard throws an elbow but it's blocked.

It looks like Juan de Sapi has been cut.
Kierkegaard lands an elbow that stopped de Sapi in his tracks for a moment.
de Sapi tries to break free but Kierkegaard pushes him back against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kierkegaard just misses with a elbow thrown towards de Sapi's brow.

That has opened up Juan de Sapi's cut even more.

The cut above Juan de Sapi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kierkegaard creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through de Sapi's defenses.

Juan de Sapi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
de Sapi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kierkegaard gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
de Sapi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kierkegaard lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Juan de Sapi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
