The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rantala takes one to the side of the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Omein.
Omein throws a one two combo.
Omein is looking to clinch but Rantala is avoiding it.
Omein jabs Rantala to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rantala shoots for a takedown but Omein saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Omein connects with a leg kick. Rantala looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Rantala darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Rantala has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Omein defend it? Rantala steps over the head and cranks it - Omein is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rantala!
