The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwager tries to clinch up.
Schwager is looking to clinch.

Schwager fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Man, pushing him back against the cage.
Schwager keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Man's efforts to push away.
Man lands with a light punch inside.
Schwager tries to circle away but Man has him pinned against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Man.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Schwager has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Man is trying to keep an underhook but Schwager manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Man is looking to escape.
Schwager tries to stand but can't do so whilst Man controls his leg.
Man wants to get back to full guard.

Schwager stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Man throws a hook but Schwager avoids it easily.

Man lands with a kick to the temple. Schwager shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Schwager tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Man paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Man gets tackled into the cage by Schwager. Schwager maintains the clinch.
Man misses with a hook from the clinch.
Man pushes Schwager back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Man creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Schwager breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Man has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schwager moves away.
Schwager tries to clinch up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Man.
Schwager tries to clinch up but Man circles away and keeps his distance.
Schwager lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Man at a distance.

Schwager clinches up against the cage.
Man misses with a punch to the body.

Schwager manages to break the clinch.

Schwager moves into range and clinches up with Man.
Man tries to break the clinch but Schwager is controlling the position.
A frustrated look appears on Man's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Schwager blocks an uppercut.

Schwager jumps guard.
Man throwing strikes but missing.
Schwager is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Schwager keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully.
Man lands a couple of elbows.
Schwager is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Man is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schwager is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Man content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Schwager will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Man is looking to stand up but Schwager won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schwager pulls Man in close to prevent any damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Schwager looking to control.

We're going to have a standup here because Loki Schwager wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Man connects with a combination that backs up Schwager into the cage. Man lands a flurry of punches that gets past Schwager's guard. Schwager is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Man bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
