Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BillyBadarse MrBillyBadarse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Ranallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MrBillyBadarse comes to the cage accompanied by redemption. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ranallo darts in and clinches MrBillyBadarse up against the cage.

MrBillyBadarse is trying to trip Ranallo. He has hold of a leg but Ranallo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. MrBillyBadarse persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
MrBillyBadarse throwing strikes but missing.
MrBillyBadarse wants to control from the top but Ranallo keeps moving.
MrBillyBadarse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ranallo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MrBillyBadarse won't allow Ranallo to sweep him here.
MrBillyBadarse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

MrBillyBadarse tries to free his leg and advance position but Ranallo is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of BillyBadarse MrBillyBadarse.
MrBillyBadarse uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ranallo.

MrBillyBadarse fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ranallo to the ground. MrBillyBadarse is now in Ranallo's guard.

Horrible takedown by MrBillyBadarse or perhaps it was just good defense by Ranallo which made him look bad.
