Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Muru Aalto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Bocek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bocek has chosen Song 2 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mark Bocek has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bocek closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aalto to the mat! Aalto manages to get full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bocek drops back looking for a leg! Aalto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aalto manages to kick Bocek off! Bocek jumps back into Aalto's guard.
Aalto keeping moving, preventing Bocek from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bocek might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aalto kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bocek passes Aalto's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Aalto is staying active underneath Bocek, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bocek wants to work for an arm triangle but Aalto is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bocek is looking for a kimura but Aalto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bocek to get the leverage.

Bocek is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aalto is just riding it out for now. Bocek eventually gives up the hold.

Bocek has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Aalto is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bocek yanks on the arm and Aalto is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bocek.
