Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nose Goose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Harisson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nose Goose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Phil Harisson!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harisson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Goose looking to score a takedown here. Harisson is defending well but Goose drives through and ends up in Harisson's guard.
Goose passes Harisson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Goose is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Harisson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Goose controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goose is nestled in close to Harisson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harisson tries to get to full guard but Goose has control of the leg.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Harisson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Goose sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Goose counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Goose.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goose postures up.
Harisson has Goose pulled in close to control his posture.
Goose is looking to work some ground and pound but Harisson has wrist control.
Goose is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Phil Harisson was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Harisson tries to sprawl but Goose drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Harisson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Goose takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Harisson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Goose is working away from the top position though.
Goose prevents Harisson from improving his position.

Goose is thwarting Harisson's attempts to control the position.
Goose tries to pass to full mount but Harisson defends it.
Goose is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Goose closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Goose lands in his opponent's guard.
Harisson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harisson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Goose tries to free his leg and advance position but Harisson is retaining full guard.
Goose not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Harisson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Harisson wants to free his trapped foot but Goose is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Goose might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Harisson wants to work for an arm triangle but Goose is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Goose tries to get to full guard but Harisson has control of the leg.

Harisson is trying to control. Goose wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Goose on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Goose tries to get out of the position.

Harisson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Goose is just riding it out for now. Harisson eventually gives up the hold.
Harisson is trying to control. Goose wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Harisson is looking to advance position but Goose won't allow it.

Harisson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Goose doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harisson.
Goose regains full guard. Nicely done.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Goose is trying to control the position but Harisson postures up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Harisson trying to control but Goose is working from the bottom.
Goose wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nose Goose dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Goose shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Harisson's guard.
Nose Goose overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Harisson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Harisson controls Goose momentarily but Goose frees himself.
Goose postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Goose is stalling in the full guard.
Harisson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Goose trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Harisson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Goose is working Harisson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goose postures up.
Goose slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Goose is looking for a sweep. Harisson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Harisson is looking for a kimura here.

Harisson is working for a submission of some sort.

Harisson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Goose is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
